In Jasperactive, Create is a project-based exercise where students leverage their creative thinking skills to complete the required project grading elements. While the Learn/Practice exercises take the students through step by step instructional tasks or activities, the Create project is based on a case-scenario format where specific tasks are required to be integrated into the project. The student can choose how to structure, build, and enhance the document (or spreadsheet or presentation) to match the specified requirements. These requirements mirror the official Microsoft Office Specialist exam requirements and ask students to demonstrate that they understand the objectives by integrating them into a Prescriptive Learning Pathway.  

Note: The Create project activity is actually completed outside of Jasperactive, using the applicable Microsoft Office product "live" as if in a real-world environment. This project challenges the student with independent thought and creativity, and generally requires multiple standard class periods to complete.
