After a student launches a Course Lesson exercise, they may experience a message that the Jasperactive Service has stopped.

This is a Windows PC Services application message. If a particular program is detected to be unused for an extended period of time, Windows may stop the service to conserve PC energy. To fix this - requires Administrator rights to the machine, so get IT involved if necessary - click the Windows Start button, type Services, select to open the Services app, scroll down the list of services until you come to Jasperactive, select it, then in the left sidebar click the "Start" hyperlink.

The process to start the service generally only takes a few seconds. Once complete, you're ready to return to Jasperactive and continue lesson progress.

Note: As noted in the first image, the option to continue even with a stopped service is available, but expect non-optimal performance.
